Practical Actionable Insights for Entrepreneurs - Especially Women

Geri Stengel is president of Ventureneer. Her company specializes in defining and eliminating problems that hold entrepreneurs back, especially women and people of color. The research, training, and content we produce for corporations, government agencies, and foundations brands them as helping to break the entrepreneurial glass ceiling for women and minority entrepreneurs. These opportunities generate thought-leadership, visibility, sales, and brand loyalty. She is best known for the articles she writes as a contributor to Forbes on the success factors of women entrepreneurs. Her company co-produces the American Express State of Women-Owned Businesses. Geri is a WE NYC mentor and former board member for the New York City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. In 2015 she won the Madam C.J Walker Business Leadership Award from the National Minority Business Council.

If women and minorities knew the right financing option for their situation, they would raise money faster and at a lower cost. Geri will address how to Decoding Your Financing Options. She will explain how factors — such as the stage and health of your business, your ambition and abilities, industry size, and use of funds — shape your financing options.
